Pro Mastering Needed for Full-length Album

So far I've gotten a couple of masters, keep them coming :headbang:

I'll comment on them when I get a few more, but so far I suspect the band might not like the fact that the balance between different instruments is changed noticeably. They attended a mixing session with the main idea being that I adjust instrument levels according to their taste. Don't take this as a criticism but rather as a guideline should you decide to make further versions.

OK, I received more masters so I'll give you my opinion.

Thanks. Sounds a bit too squashed and fatiguing to me.

I like it. It sounds balanced and not too different from the original master.

Those that sent me PMs will receive my feedback in PMs as, well.

Keep them coming :)
Cheers!

Thanks, I got a lot of masters on PM as well as those in the thread so I think they should be more than enough for the band. We're probably going to change a few small things on a couple of songs in Sunday and after that they'll be checking masters.

You do realise amateurs are not all you can find in a message board. I've been contacted by a few people that definitely know what they are doing and are Pro yet are willing to make a demo master. I much prefer having an idea of what to expect to wondering if my mix will sound any good when a big-name engineer masters it, since a lot of those engineers deal primarily with excellent mixes and you can't deny the mix is what matters most for the end product. While my abition is to make great mixes I am from the idea that they are flawless.

Spectre mastering is awesome and a good rate, Troy has done underoath, august burns red and many more. I think he is like $100 us per song. Or turtletone mastering
