In a recent appearance on the Cobras & Fire Podcast, Tom Werman, producer of the Mötley Crüe albums Shout At The Devil, Theater of Pain & Girls, Girls Girls, spoke about working with the band specifically vocalist Vince Neil.

At the 49:00 mark he says: “Vince was hard. He was probably the most challenging vocalist I ever worked with. Not because he wasn’t good. I had to get a special mic. I had to buy a really expensive mic to record his voice because to me it sounded as though he was singing through his nose. He would not take his job as seriously as I wanted him to. When he got behind the mic he tried hard. He wasn’t a slacker. But he never went to bed on time. You know. He was a major party animal. Vince was not the kind of guy who would say ‘Uh Listen girls. Its 12:30 AM and I’m singing tomorrow so I think I’m gonna go to sleep’.”

With over 4 million albums sold and quadruple platinum status, Mötley Crüe’s breakthrough second studio album, Shout At The Devil, solidified the band as one of the most iconic ‘80s rock bands of all time.

As such, Super7 is celebrating Mötley Crüe with a new Wave of 3.75” scale ReAction Figures. Inspired by the black-and-white promotional photos for Shout At The Devil, the latest Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx, and Mick Mars ReAction Figures feature greyscale colorways, each equipped with a music accessory and packed on a die cut cardback reminiscent of the original album cover.
