Professionnal Low Cost Mixing.

"Professional" "Low Cost"

Latest mix ends in "First Try"

Sorry man, you could really improve your marketing skills. :/

Please don't say professional...
Snare is so loud and ugly, voice is so low that i can't barely hear it at least you can make demo for people who can't afford a great sound and I think it's pretty cool ;)
And yes first try? WTF

Good job on the hospitality guys, now I remember why I don't go on here anymore. I guess if it's not a thread for raw midi bass and drums for an overplayed metalcore song then it doesn't matter

Edit: And in his defense, professional also extends to how you interact with clients in a certain manner etc. You guys are fucking jerkoffs

Nailed it. My guess as to why the dude posted something with 'first mix' in the title is that he wanted to show off his most recent mix, i.e. the most accurate representation of where his mixing skills are at right now.

Fucking douchebag! I've listened to some of his mixes and they have a lot of potential, some pro mastering on them and they would sound professional imo.

You've got a good point there Gujukal. My oppinion was that he should spice up his marketing.
This guys mixes sound 10x better than what some "real good quality" studios put out around here.

I hope you get some clients Failsafe, just boost your sale presentation a bit! :kickass:

Failsafe, I'd recommend having this thread deleted and start a fresh one.

If someone comes here looking for work and sees the top few posts it might put people off before they have even given it a chance to listen to your work.

I'm not sure why you was attacked for offering your services. It's up to the person that is willing to pay for your services to come to their own conclusion about your mix work.

Im not agreeing or disagreeing, but i will say that the word "professional" didnt need to be there and thats why you got pounced on. Not saying i agree with it. This is a forum full of recording enthusiasts. And unless you have some serious credits, I don't think you are anymore professional than a lot / most of the people here. I'd just delete this thread and start a new one offering your services.

The problem is you're distinguishing yourself by being cheap (you mention it in the thread title). Imho that's not a very good marketing in general, and particulary not in a forum full of audio-engineers - with lots of them trying to make a living from audio work. I guess that explains some of the heated reactions here.
