Proggy Band From San diego, Opinions welcomed! (Fans of gritty bass enter)

Hihat is a bit distracting, you should pan it a bit closer to the middle and perhaps turn it down a bit. And holy crap man tame those high mids in the bass grit, kinda overpowering the rest of the mix.

Yea i've been thinking the bass has a to much content in the high-mids, Ill also try narrowing the overheads thanks!

Like Ascendant said, the hi hat is a bit distracting. It sounds HUGE, and not in a good way. The bass tone is good but it needs to go way down, it dominates the rest of the mix. Guitars could use a little more high-end, IMO.

Thanks Guy's, The drummer had the worst sounding hi-hat iv'e ever heard so just ringing it out has been a pain in the ass. Orionvictus are you talking about the entire mix or just the hi-hat on the huge remark? I agree on adding high-end to the gtr's and ill apply that.
