You will all laugh your asses off at me....when I saw this post it was the first time I had ever seen a Guitar Hero screen, believe it or not! I watched it for a few seconds and wondered, "What IS this?" and then decided it must be Guitar Hero! DUH! (No, I don't actually live under a rock, LOL!)
Anyway, I watched the whole thing and it looked pretty cool...and as luck would have it the next weekend I was at my bro's house where my 21 year old nephew is a whiz on GH. He had it out and was wailing away (my fave from him that day was his 99% accurate version of Cliffs of Dover on hard). I finally decided to take a crack at it myself, and he patiently set it up for me, explained what to do, and set it on easy and no fail....
Not being much for video games, myself, I took it easy and gave Poison's 'Talk Dirty to Me' a whirl....and it was toooooo funny....my longest streak was 17 (seriously!!!) and I ended up with 28% (I really needed that no fail, huh??)....how LAME is THAT? Practically crying because I was laughing so hard, I quickly handed the guitar back over to Kenny, chuckling that my GH career lasted as long as my golf career did - one and done, over and out. Too stoopid!
Happy 4th everyone - and I hope those of you that enjoy GH all play the Star Spangled Banner sometime tomorrow!
