ProgPower "Cover Song" cd?

I was just thinking about all the great cover songs we heard this past weekend, and I wondered if there's any chance of getting a cd compilation out of Glenn with all the cover songs the bands have played over the years.

I don't know if there were soundboard recordings made at each show, and I have no idea about the logistics of putting something like this together...but I do know it would make a great Disc 3 of next year's sampler!

Hell...I'd even pay for something like this! What do you guys think??

Not a prayer, I suspect. The licensing issues would be annoying at best, murder at worst.

Cool idea, but probably more trouble for Glenn than it's worth. For some reason I'm a sucker for metal bands doing covers period!

Maybe some of them will end up on the PP CD

Same with the PP CD, when you do that you have to deal with licensing issues and royalties etc. - we don't have the budget for all that I am afraid.
