Progressive Metal/Shred Guitarist From Connecticut Looking for Musicians....
Hello People, I'm a 26 year old guitar player from Connecticut who's desperately trying to find ANY musicians in the area, even in Mass/New York who'd be interested in getting a project together in the prog-metal realm. I've been playing for 13 years, and I'm extremely dedicated to my craft (ie, dont follow the trends, I play what I like). I've taught on and off as well. I know there must be more of us around here somewhere, as I've worked with some Prog singers here in the past. Plus, we're the state that Fates Warning came from...that has to count for something Just to give those possibly interested in starting a project, my influences are as follows:
Fav Guitarists/Influences: Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Michael Romeo, Jason Becker, Neal Schon, Nuno Bettencourt, Tony MacAlpine, Vinnie Moore, Joey Tafolla, Rob Johnson.
Fav Bands: Dream Theater, Symphony X, Fates Warning, Queensryche (Pre-Promised Land), Journey, Cacophony, Racer X.
