PROTOTYPE - NEWS UPDATED 10/07/2002
-------------------------------------------------

1. WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON WITH PROTOTYPE??? A NEW RELEASE?????

We're happy to announce that we're in the middle of working on a new release. This "retrospective" of sorts will feature 9 tracks, of which 6 have never been released. Most of the tracks feature Damion Ramirez (former PROTOTYPE skinsman from the "Seed" days and current Capitol Eye (www.capitoleye.com)
drummer) on drums recorded back in 1997 at The Mothership, which is Steve Vai's recording studio in the Hollywood Hills. We were gearing up for our first full-length release back then but budgetary constraints didn't allow us to go forward. All other instruments are 2002. We can tell you that the CD will feature a remake of PSYCHOSIS' classic "Cold Is This God" from the 1992 LIFEFORCE EP...

The tracks sound INCREDIBLE. We're in the middle of recording and should hopefully be done within 1-2 months. Release dates as well as an official title will hopefully be announced at that time.

2. ALSO, NEW ALBUM IN THE WORKS.

In addition to the aforementioned CD currently in the works, we've already written approximately half of the contents of our next full length album. The follow up to our 2002 critically acclaimed TRINITY will likely have a 2003 release. Recording is not yet scheduled as we have yet to decide on a permanent replacement drummer. The material is some of the best stuff that we've ever written... heavier... darker... ominous...

3. WHAT ABOUT A NEW DRUMMER?

With all of this recording we've had limited opportunities to audition drummers. However, that's changing as we near the end of the sessions. There are several candidates waiting in the wings and more to come.

4. OTHER STUFF HAPPENING...

TRINITY has yet to be formally introduced to the European market and we are making progress to get it there. With the help of the guys at our management company INTROMENTAL, we're making strides in getting that to come true.

We're also working on getting some PROTOTYPE riffage into your PS2 and XBOX games....

5. HAVE YOU READ THE REVIEWS???

If not, you need to! TRINITY has been receiving incredible reviews, check out the review section by clicking here (www.prototypeonline.com).

OK people, as you can see, we're damn busy. Stay tuned for more info as it unfolds.
