A public memorial service for Oli Herbert, a founding member and lead guitarist of metal band ALL THAT REMAINS, will be held on Sunday, November 11 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Worcester Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts. The memorial service will be open to the public with entrance on a "first-come, first-served" basis for up to 350 people. An optional donation of $10 per person is suggested for admission to benefit the 14th Hour Foundation, a charity that was very important to Oli. Kris Paronto, founder of 14th Hour Foundation, appeared in the ALL THAT REMAINS's "Madness" music video. Each person who donates $10 will receive a raffle ticket for door prizes to be raffled during the service. The memorial service will include a special video presentation to include photos, music videos and artist tributes. Fans are invited to contribute photos taken of Oli at shows and/or with themselves and Oli. For those unable to attend, the memorial service will be a live-streamed on the official Oli Herbert Facebook page beginning at 2:15 p.m. Herbert was found dead on October 16 near his home in Connecticut. He was 44 years old. According to TMZ, police were dispatched to Oli's Stafford Springs residence after someone reported him missing. Cops searched the area and found Oli in a nearby pond. Police sources say the death does not appear to be suspicious, but an autopsy needs to be performed to confirm the cause and manner of death. The Connecticut medical examiner is investigating. The Herbert family publicist confirmed Oli passed away "unexpectedly as a result of an accident which occurred on the property of his home." Herbert began playing guitar at 14. He co-founded ALL THAT REMAINS with frontman Phil Labonte in 1998. ALL THAT REMAINS has released five studio albums, a live CD/DVD, and has sold more than one million records worldwide. The band's new LP, "Victim Of The New Disease", will arrive on November 9. Herbert married his wife, Beth, in 2004.
