I love the first two maiden albums. I will always be down for ANYTHING off of them. Count me in.

Yeah.
I'd look into an SM58 or an AT4000C. One is a dynamic mic and the other is a condenser (respectively).
I had the AT4000C (until is shit the bed). It gets a great sound and might also be used for acoustic micing in the future.
