Hey guys im pumped to see Amon Amarth tour during April but I have one question. My ears are pretty sensitive to big bangs, so do Amon Amarth use any explosions during their show?

They've used fires a lot, but don't think I've ever experienced load bangs as far as I can remember

No, I've never seem them use loud pyros. Excellent smoke and lighting, but never fire
I've never seen Amon Amarth with fire

The joke was if you were drunk you would've seen fire and remembered seeing fire, but if you weren't drunk enough you didn't see fire.

Oh by the way, my joke was....no such thing as too sober. You can't get any sober than sober. And it's highly doubtful you would forget a fire show (with big booms) when sober.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I got all the jokes, but I think that's what it was. Also I think sober is too sober.

They use pyro more at festivals where they have the space to do pyro. There are some loud bangs but they tend to use fire more.

They had some fire on Festivals. but only in a couple of songs and not with really that loud bangs.

I have not seen any pyro but then I have only seen them in a smallish venue.
Anyway, I got sensitive ears too so I use ear defenders at gigs. You hear the music just as clearly and almost as loud, but they drown the background noise. Plus your ears don't hurt the next day.
