Just wanted to know if anyone on this forum is using Waves Q-Clone and if you are how are you using it? and is it possible to use the Q-capture to scan the Eq frequency of a mastered mix and then applie the same Eq range to your own mix?

Its pretty good to damn good, but i prefer working a tad faster to be honest!
if you don't have a analog EQ yourself you have to add every dip or shelf with another Q-clone... doesn't quit work...
and even if you had... it wouldn't work realy fast i bet.

But... Sounds good though!

I was curious to see if Q-Clone can do that too. I remember using Steinberg free-filter which did that.. but is that still around? If Q-clone has the ability to learn/apply eq thats rad.

No, not Voxengo GlissEQ... but Voxengo CurveEQ can do it!!! Excellent little plugin.

Yeah - but i think the better plugin to make the stuff like that is EAS Firium

yeh, i thought voxengo was the master of this lol! Been looking at it myself of recent with a little help from a Englishman, a Dutchman and an American lol! Wanted to nail the tone on "swim" by the flames, and although its my silly arse fault i played it down another step (not to mention the crap playing!) i think this little attempt popped out not bad tonally, yet theres plenty that can be imporved:

Just seems to have a great bite already but needs to be a little smoother :)
