PelleK Announced As New Vocalist Of Qantice

French "prog/power movie metal" act Qantice has named Per Fredrik Asly a/k/a PelleK (Damnation Angels) as the band's new vocalist. The band is preparing the sophomore release "The Phantonauts" for release later this year.

After its formation in 2002 in Paris by guitarist/composer Tony Beaufils, Qantice released two demos in 2005 and 2008, leading up to the debut album release "The Cosmocinesy" in 2009 via Brennus Music. A novel version of the story of the album was issued last year entitled "Qantice, la Cosmocinésie ou les Remuements des Mondes," which was co-written by Tony and Marie Fontaine.

Beaufils commented on the upcoming LP: "After a lot of hard work on 'The Phantonauts,' we're thrilled to be able to deliver our new album to our fans and we are really looking forward to playing live!"

The lineup for Qantice is as follows:
Tony Beaufils - Guitars, Composer
PelleK - Vocals
Aurélien Joucla - Drums
Yosh Otias - Violins
