Tribe does have some great songs on it, BUT here are the problems I have noticed. in no specific order...
All the songs are in the same 2 tempos and those are slow or mid paced making it tough to listen to the whole CD at once.
Rather than just being Queensryche they seem to be trying to be Creed or someone like that, kind of lost their own identity and attempted to gain a larger audience by playing " whats in "
It was hailed as the return of Chris Degarmo, then the CD comes out and they say " well, he didn't have much to do with it " In an attempt to downplay the fact that he backed out.
BUT, It is a much better release than the last few by far.
The production is great, it has at least 3 or 4 good tunes.
so what does this all mean?

1. They say they are back to the e.p, but only at the start, then they go into some 90 degree hard rock tangent, playing it safe for the people who bought EMPIRE.
2. Yes, it seems CHRISTIAN rock is a saleable asset!! hence the tate hair loss.
3. I don't hear any hi tech songs, on the newie, and they do have the spare cash.
4. They have left the beatles and are getting influences from blink 812 it seems, jst waiting for them to have masks and makeup next.
5. tate doesn't sound like has has any hate anymore
6. The writing and structure is not mean and really hard amp-driven metal.

well they arent spring chickens anymore guys...the older you get, the weirder your music gets..i havent got this record for a number of reasons...mainly because i heard it wasnt that great
