Caught the opening night in Orlando last night and as expected it was an awesome show. Queensryche has mixed up their setlist a bit from the past few years and played 3 songs from The Verdict, along with adding some Todd era songs that haven’t been in the live rotation like Open Road, Selfish Lives and the epic title track from Condition Human. The stage production looked great as well with 4 smaller video screens up there with the band.

Fates sounded great as always. Biggest surprise from their set was the inclusion of Falling Farther, a bonus track from the 2 disc version of Darkness In A Different Light that sounded incredible.

Only bummer was that I wasn’t able to get a signed Fates drumhead that I was hoping to pick up. Merch guy said they will have them at upcoming dates. If anyone is feeling generous and attends a show on this tour and wants to pick one up for me, buy 2. I’ll gladly reimburse you the money plus shipping, as well as pay for the one you keep for yourself.
