I was wondering why the Ozzy Osbourne song "Shot in the Dark" wasn't included on the covers cd? I thought it was really odd how every other cover song was but that wasn't.

Alrighty..lol The CD could of easily had one more track on it. I guess I may have to get the japanese edition of Follow The Reaper. Anthrax is never going to have the best line-up like they did in the 80s and early 90s again, so just enjoy the albums they put out. I will say this though, I love Anthrax still but they need to get their act together and stick with one line-up and stop screwing over so many people.

anthrax should, switch off singers...one tour/album with the original singer neil turban, then after that.. do a tour/album with joey and then do album/tour with john bush win for all fans right? lol

i think record companys only let a band put but so many tracks, i dunno lol

what i do know is when bands make albums they always have songs left over that dont make the album, bands basically make a crapload of songs and pick songs they think should go i dunno LOL.

Anthrax already did a reunion tour with Joey Belladonna/Dan Spitz back in 2005/06( and released a live CD/DVD from that tour). Neil Turban doesn't like the guys in Anthrax I don't think, I read somewhere he has no interest in doing any shows with them. John Bush is supposedly back in the band and may be re-recording the tracks for the album that Dan Nelson laid vocals down on. The new album is still up in the air for a release date/vocal re-recording. A lot of bands have b-sides or left over songs and they use them for bonus tracks or for another song on a single. The cover of "Shot in the Dark" originally was on the japanese pressing of Follow The Reaper.

Bodom's version of Shot in the Dark > Ozzy's.

And this is coming from an Ozzy fanboy.

All I know is Ozzy's vocals are better on that one. Of course musically it's another thing, but I think the emphazis on that song is on the vocals (that's how the mainstream recognizes it anyway) so it kind of diminishes COB's instrumental effort on that song, tho I have no complaints on the original version.

Ozzy. The prince of darkness. That kind of bullshit is what made the '80's bands more legendary than some modern bands will probably ever be. But who cares for the popularity.
