Hey dudes, are all strats the same under the pickguard, or is there actually different routing between the different models? I ask because a friend just got one for a bday present and wanted to swap the pickups, and I was gonna recommend he get this, but if his guitar is in a 3-single coil configuration (I haven't seen it yet, so I'm not sure if it's a fat strat or not), will it fit, or will there have to be some routing to fit the bridge pup?

the Lukather kicks ass and will fit.
not all strats are the same, some have the "pool" routing, others only the H-S-S routing....
every strat has the possibility to put a HB in the bridge-pos. though, so your friend is fine
