I got an email press release from Ace's publicist about a month ago. It will see the light of day this late summer early fall. We'll see. As for weenie arms' record I haven't a clue...
Even though I am not holding my breath for an album from either of them... look they have both been very successful and don't need to release anything for the money IMO.
Let see how much of a "weenie" you are when you sixty, sixxi!
Oh come on, you really think Peter is a good drummer?! Or singer for that matter?!
Sixx probably has good info, but I still wouldn't hold my breath for either album. Ace's has been in the works forever, and Peter's is iffy at best. Anyway, the latter's will probably just be big band stuff and whatnot, unless that's your bag, then cool.

he has a unique voice but its not the best. it works for what he does. yes though he was an awesome drummer until about 1980
I have to admit I think his voice was the best fit for a song like Hard Luck Woman.
wish you would admit he was an awesome drummer. go listen to the song "nothin to loose" off of alive and listen to the drum work
Knowing what I know about KISS, chances are it's not even him playing on that particular song...
Anyway speaking of KISS....

Just cause KISS is an easy target for your mockery only reflects the kind of person you are to gratify yourself with it.
You may not appreciate their accomplishments and you may think your enlightening true fans in some way. You've made your point... let it go.
I was a KISS fan when it was cool to be a KISS fan and defended them when it wasn't. So your opinion doesn't impress me.

i am a drummer and its very easy for a lot of drummers to pickup on someones style and what they play like. its easy to tell that peter criss plays on pretty much every song released up until dynasty and doesn't play on much of anything on dynasty except the song he sings and maybe 1 other song. if you own the kiss boxset though they give up the deception and actually list when someone who wasn't in kiss plays on a song or album and peter criss plays drums on all of the first 3 albums as well as the 2 alive albums and most of everything from destroyer to love gun. i have doubts on about 5 songs recorded during those 3 albums that don't sound like his style
You're a good man, I do have the boxset and just about everyone of their albums. They just don't get very many listens anymore. The classic stuff to me still is the everything until Dynasty.... I do love Revenge and Creatures a bit too...
i wasn't trying to get on your case or anything if you thought that. i know he doesn't play on dynasty except for 2 tracks but if you but if you buy the new dvd set of early shows you can see he is a better than average drummer. if you listen to the dynasty tour criss actually plays the drum parts better than the studio guy they hired to play it on the album. he pretty much was unhappy with the band and the fact the fans only wanted him playing hard rock and didn't like his style of music on the solo album so they were forcing him out. i own everything from the 70's then only creatures, lick it up, revenge, carnival of souls and psycho circus plus the boxset.
do you happen to own criss cat #1?
yeah anton fig did a lot with kiss in the 70's. i probably won't get any of the other dvd sets when they come out. they should have titled this set "the only years that matter". i heard there will be like 10 more sets but i can say that other than the box set this is the only thing kiss has done right for the fans since about 1998.Not only do I have the new DVD but I have three copies of it!!!! So maybe I'm a bigger fan that that rawk?! The "studio guy" happens to be Anton Fig. I think I have a cassette of Cat #1 somewhere. I remember when I bought it through mail order, it was being marketed as a "signed" copy at leat for the fisrt pressing. When I got it I was very disappointed that it was a signature that was printed into the artwork... Quite lame to say the least.
