Questions for the "soul"

I'm sure there's been a million threads like this, some maybe even here, but
since I can't remember any of them or seeing any, here you go.
I will post a new question every week... if people answer this one that is.

(I basicly stole this from some book that was mentioned in an email sent to
Bruce Campbell, he posted the email in his book, how's that for reference?)

Question 1: If you were to die, who would you like to do your eulogy?

If I were to die(I do believe it will happen one day) I will have no eulogy,
I know that's not the question but I've already arranged what is to happen when I'm just a memory.

Question 1: If you were to die, who would you like to do your eulogy?

That's an interesting question. I am torn between different options. I think the most sensible concerns someone I know at work - I believe he's got a good understanding of who I am as a person and could be counted upon to deliver a speech that would be accurate and not overly sentimental. It's strange how the first people you think of when asked this question are always close family or close friends, but I don't really think it's a good idea. I was able to give a reasonable eulogy for my father only because I was asked 18 months after his death, in the context of a conference in his honor. Had I been asked straight away, there would have been a problem of balance between foreground and background, and I would not have done him justice, while I heard good eulogies in the immediate aftermath by people who had worked with him long enough to know him well and had interacted with him long enough to have an idea of his personality, without being too tied with events that passed right before his death (ie gruesome aspects of physical illness etc).

Family is the first thing i thought as well, but i agree it's not a good idea. I wouldn't want my mom or dad to be alive to witness my death, it would just be too painful for them.

Eulogy: whoever wants to do it. Don't care. I'd be dead anyway. People can tell whatever lies they want about my better side while ignoring the worse one, or vice versa. Whoever that can tell about both would be ideal, but frankly, I wouldn't care. I imagine the dead have more important matters in mind.
