This might sound harsh, but think about it...

* Both bands started out around the same age(although GnR
could've been a tad bit younger)

* Both bands changed a few members while some were left
(think GnR's UYI album(s) and QVs Defiant Imagination.

*Both bands changed their lineup again, did some dates
and went in to hibernation(QVs current lineup and GnRs
current lineup)

...this would mean that Bart would be QVs Axl Rose and
Yanic would've been QVs Slash, in the sense that he has
a very strong trademark that's closely associated with the band

So, there's still fans that dig each bands current lineup. Each to his own.
Remember though, it took GnR almost 13(or was it 14?) years to release
Chinese Democracy and the QV camp has been pretty dead silent the last
2-2.5 years

anyone else see the similarities?

Pretty funny, but you're missing that I almost died twice in the hospital in 2011, spent weeks in oncology hooked up to 6 IVs at the same time. Could be a minor reason why was concerned a bit less with recording and shows. Other then that, I don't think AXL wrote the music but all in all pretty funny.

once again, hope your feeling better bart! Nice to know your still kicking! Hope you get things moving again soon, but obviously your health is first priority! Rock on man.
