Though he may not have been well known as Gary Gygax, without Dave Arneson we would not have had Dungeons & Dragons or possibly any fantasy table top gaming.

Yeah, you always hear about Gary Gygax but nobody else. The name rings a bell though.

I haven't played D&D since school, and even then I was stuck being the DM because nobody else knew the rules... so it's probably at least 20 years since I had a character in a game of D&D (or any RPG).
