Damn...that sucks. He was amazing. It always blew my mind watching him play. I can't do what he did while holding the guitar the traditional way. Not to mention, he did that shit without sight!!! He knew that guitar neck better than I could ever hope to.

Just watch this. You'll see what I mean.



I've often wondered what happened to him. He just seemed to disappear. I've been threatening to look him up for years now...but I never did. I suck.

Rest in peace, Jeff.

I've always admired the guy. He's incredible.

Seriously and not being sarcastic in any way.... I thought it would've been so interesting to have him and Stevie Wonder do a duet together.

I saw him in Sacramento 20 years ago, the first show my then-husband ever 'let' me go to (I was always the one who stayed home with the kids otherwise). Very sad news, Jeff was amazing.

I've seen him live twice... Once back in the See The Light days and again at a Blues Festival in Long Beach... He was pretty damn amazing...
