R.I.P. Satoshi Kon (for anime enthusiasts)

I haven't seen much of his stuff but everyone who i know whose into anime as well likes his stuff, its a shame hes dead now :(

I met the woman who voiced Rumi in his film Perfect Blue, Wendee Lee, she was really nice and cool :D

I'm not really anime expert, so I had to check his filmography on wikipedia to see if know any of his movies. Turns out he wrote an directed Paprika, one of my favorite anime. 47 is not alot - he could have lived much longer. Sad.

Sad indeed, I think I've seen everything he did and really liked all of it; Millenium Actress and Paranoia Agent in particular.

Lol wut, it was Matsumoto Rika. Whoever watches dubbed anime anyway...

Matsumoto did the original version, and Wendee Lee did it on the english release

You totally missed my point though. This is completely offtopic now, but here goes anyway.

What I meant was that I (like many others) don't really enjoy watching anime dubbed in English at all. The voice acting is simply not even comparable to the quality of the originals done by professional seiyu.

Or dubbed in any other language either. Here's some quality Finnish dubbed anime for you:
