RACIAL SLURS x

for those of you who speak other languages, what are some racial slurs that non-americans call each other? i'm thinking Serb terms for the mongrel ethnicities surrounding them (i was going to call this thread attn:azal, but i figured the racial slur thing would draw him in anyway), Israeli terms for Arabs/Palestinians, whatever. I was fascinated when Avi showed me a site that described how Swedes called non-Scandinavians "blackheads" (svartskalle) because they found non-blonde hair to be weird.

well, i mean, not all americans are roundeyes, yet in our past there were still racial slurs directed at asians. i'm sure that at one point there were many swedes who had never seen other than blonde hair, but that's probably not really true any more.

I'm not sure what it exactly means, but a derogatory word for a Croatian is "Ustasha"

and Croatians use "Chetnik" as a derogatory word for serb.

I think both signify a kind of brutal, killer during war time..something to that effect.

just be warned, anyone attempting to use bogus phrases like in the monty python skit ("My hovercraft is full of eels", "My nipples explode with delight") will be hunted down like rogue Ustashas and hurled into a mass grave.

"chetnik" obviously compares the Serb to the fat, useless Chet character in Hardy Boys books.

now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that Ustasha reffers to the fact that the Croats were allied with Hitler and the nazis in WWII.
