With only a few months till the fest there is still more happening behind the scenes. There is still a few more bands to be announced. We are trying to work on something cool for Friday with the opening slot. We had a few cool idea's that all fell through sadly. We still have a few more to try as well. We are trying to do something different that will turn some heads. If it works out it should be pretty cool.
There are still more bands in the works too. If things work out we will be able to announce it this week. Speaking of band announcements...at the fest this year we are in the works to announce 4 or 5 of the bigger acts playing in 2017. Some were bands we wanted this year but they wanted to wait till next year due to albums coming out later this year and some because they have members who are busy in other acts. So if all goes well we plan on making the 2017 announcements after the show ends on Saturday this year.
We still are working out Pre-party details and other cool stuff. This year at the pre-party we can hopefully promise some of the bigger bands will be there. This past year was a mess due to bands coming in late that day. This year we are making an effort to get everyone in early so everyone can enjoy the night.
Mike is also thinking about doing a re-print on vinyl posters from last year and maybe years before as well for those who are interested. Let me know if you are interested. It would be set up like we would need a certain number paid before they press just so we are not left with a handful of them sitting around.
Hopefully the final line up will be complete by mid March...hopefully. We are waiting on one band to get back to us and we are waiting till then because they would be worth it.
