As Head of A&R for Dark Symphonies, I want to publicly confirm the official break up of Virginia's own Rain Fell Within. Their break-up comes as a complete surprise to everyone at Dark Symphonies. The band was currently hard at work writing and recording new material for their follow-up to this year's release "Refuge." With the addition of Jason and Laurie to the band, it seemed that this line-up would create their own style of majestic music for many years to come. In fact, the band recently submitted a rough demo to producer Neil Kernon with the proposition of working together on their next cd, and Neil eagerly
accepted the band's offer. Dawn, Charlie, and I were in the process of working out all the details to make this a reality with the realistic expectations that the next Rain Fell Within cd would be their best ever. However, in the midst of future plans and goals, the break-up basically came down to too many differences in personal aspirations and goals amongst the members. The band members are all going to continue with music in the form of multiple projects. In closing, on behalf of the entire Dark Symphonies family, we extend our darkest thank you to all the members of Rain Fell Within for putting their trust in us to bring their music to the world.
