Zisis Petkanas of Greece's zine Rock Overdose conducted an interview with legendary singer Joe Lynn Turner.

When asked about a reunion for Rainbow, he said:

“Well, I’m gonna be honest with you, right now. Yes! Possibly. It’s very possible. Last year, I wouldn’t say it. But this year I say it. It’s possible. It’s a very big possibility that something might, just might, happen. I heard talk a bit and all I can say is that I’m not supposed to talk about it, but I’m talking to you now, and all I want you to say is yes. It’s a very big possibility that we may have a reunion. It will be phenomenal.”

And when told that we hope to see him live with Rainbow, he replied:
“Yeah, man! Keep your fingers crossed.”

If we can get an album similar to Straight Between The Eyes or Bent Out of Shape, then I say go for it!!

Would be amazing.....

Everyone tho makes a comment like this every year or so.

Last year or the year before Coverdale and Hughes made comments surrounding the fact that they are good to go for a Mark III reunion.

I second Jason on this one. I'll believe it when I see it. However, I did see Joe Lynn Turner's Over The Rainbow about five years ago, and they were spectacular. Ritchie's son J.R. handled the guitar duties, and I think he would have made his dad proud.

Stay metal. Never rust.

I'm so disappointed to have missed that tour. I was leaving the Cape May area the day Over The Rainbow was playing the Ocean City, NJ Pier....

Can't see it. If Richie turned down offers to do it with Dio then I can't see this happening. But anything is possible I guess. Just think this was one of those interviews like many where Turner was asked and the answer was....
I'll believe it out of Richie's mouth.
