RAISING FEAR start recording of new album

Italian power metal band Raising Fear is set to start on January 15th, 2006 the recordings of new album «Avalon» in the Remaster Studios (Vicenza), with producers Toni Mad Fontò (White Skull guitarist and mastermind) and B.B. Nick Savio (former White Skull lead guitar, now with Vicious Mary and Broken Arrow).

«Avalon» will be released by italian label Dragonheart, that already released «Mythos», Raising Fear debut album. «Avalon» will feature Leanan Sidhe (former Beholder female vocalist) giving her contribution to some tracks. The band is also awaiting to confirm Jag Panzer lead guitar Chris Broderick performing a solo in the album.

The concept album «Avalon» is the first chapter of a saga whose main character, monk Wolfram, will face a complex quest between past and future, to discover the true core of ancient religions. The album, introducing the character of Wolfram, will picture his journey through the aeons to his first destination, Avalon island.

After releasing «Mythos» in March 2005 (receiving good reviews in most of the European magazines and websites), Raising Fear got involved in a long Italian tour, playing in the most famous rock-metal venues, as headliners or supporting metal legends like Jag Panzer and Brocas Helm. They also performed a great show at Tradate Iron Fest in June 2005, and then crossed the Alps in September to play at Swordbrothers Festival in Andernach (Germany), being the only Italian band in the festival.
