I need to get me a playlist, so I can make a proper post in this thread. Right now what's on is The 7:30 Report.

I don't have any kind of real "playlist", I just listed the songs I'd been listening to alot, either on mix CDs, Winamp or putting the album on to listen to that track. On that note, here's some I've been thumpin' lately:

Roxanne - Nothin' To Lose
Rick Springfield - Affair of the Heart
Keel - The Right To Rock
Treat - Gimme One More Night
Ratt - What You Give Is What You Get
Skin N Bones - Mr. Downtown
Kix - Blow My Fuse
Warrant - Bitter Bill

I don't use no poxy playlists, I just listen to what I feel like.

Last week I had a Maiden marathon at work (listened to everything except the live albums - Live After Death excepted, natch) and a Dream Theater marathon (listened to everything except WDADU, which I've never gotten around to putting on the iRiver) and today I had a mini-Queensryche marathon (only listened to Empire, Operation: Mindcrime and Promised Land, though) and also listened to Porcupine Tree's Deadwing, which rules. Oh, and Odyssey Number Five and half of Vulture Street, both by Powderfinger, natch.

Most days I usually start work by listening to Songs in the Key of Rock and Soul Mover (both by Glenn Hughes) back to back, and then listen to whatever else I feel like. Usually something heavy but mellowish.

I wish I could listen to music at work all day. I can late on, but it's not really practical during the main working hours. :(

I've got the iPOD on shuffle, here's the last bunch of tracks it's thrown up anyway-

SYL- Consequence.
The Haunted- Soul Fracture.
Psycroptic- Skin Coffin.
Exodus- 44 Magnum Opus.
8 Foot Sativa- Breed The Pain.
Soundgarden- Pretty Noose.
Kataklysm- For All Our Sins.
Madball- For My Enemies.
The Crown- (I Am) Hell.
Poison The Well- Zombies Are Good For Your Health.
Candiria- The Rutherford Experiment.
Fozzy- Blackout.

A bit more metal today:

Galloglass - Dragons Revenge (anyone else heard these guys? Fucking awesome German speed/power metal. The singer sounds remarkably like Lord Tim...great band)
Accept - Princess Of The Dawn
Danzig - Mother
Anthrax - Deathrider
Himsa - Loveless & Goodbye
Amon Amarth - Pursuit Of Vikings
Arch Enemy - Silent Wars

Monster Ballads: Platinum Edition

1. I Remember You - Skid Row
2. Heaven - Warrant
3. Every Rose Has Its Thorn - Poison
4. Fly To The Angels - Slaughter
5. Don't Know What You Get (Till It's Gone) - Cinderella
6. When The Children Cry - White Lion
7. Headed For A Heartbreak - Winger
8. Forever - Kiss
9. Love Of A Lifetime - Firehouse
10. High Enough - Damn Yankees
11. Is This Love - Whitesnake
12. Love Song - Tesla
13. To Be WIth You - Mr. Big
14. Don't Close Your Eyes - Kix
16. More Than Words - Extreme
18. Silent Lucidity - Queensryche
15. Carrie - Europe
17. Wind Of Change - Scorpions

Had my iRiver on random this afternoon. Here's what was played until it was time to go home:

Queensryche, "Someone Else"
Edguy, "Trinidad"
Dream Theater, "Caught in a Web"
Journey, "Line of Fire"
The Who, "I'm a Boy"
Galactic Cowboys, "Pump Up the Space Suit"
Rush, "Freewill"
Dwight Yoakam, "Ring of Fire"
Fates Warning, "Through Different Eyes"
Ayreon, "Dawn of a Million Souls"
Fear Factory, "A Therapy for Pain"
Therapy?, "Straight Life"
Fear Factory, "Dog Day Sunrise"
Bill Hicks, "Time to Evolve"
Testament, "Riding the Snake"

Yeah, two Fear Factory songs from the same album. Interesting to note that sometimes I get two songs from the same album in a row - interesting considering there are almost 9000 songs on the iRiver to choose from.

Some Voivod (war & pain) and Heineken right now, some other odd trax from albums featutred on my stereo:
Accept - Up to the Limit
Megadeth - Last rites/loved you to death
Holy Moses - Fortress of Desperation
Testament - Over the Wall
Dissection - Grief Prophecy/shadows over a lost kingdom
Evil Dead - Annihilation of Civilization
Edge of Sanity - Black Tears
Iron Maiden - warthchild
Lycia - the burning circle
Dupont - Ghostdance
Garden of Delight - eternal sleep

'Last Rites / Loved To Death' is awesome. They should open gigs with it in the future.

I would like to hear the remastered version of it, as I only have the original cd release. The advantage with that though is that I have the proper version of 'These Boots', which also rocks.

Yeah, I only have the original also. I hear the remaster is excellent and as much as I would love to get it the funds escape me.

I recently bought Twisted Sisters re-recording of Stay Hungery, Still Hungry which was thoroughly enjoyable!
Other trax passing thru my stereo in the past few days:
Entombed - evilyn
Helstar - Perserverance And Desperation
Loudness - Let it Go
Sepultura - Necromancer
Hypocrisy - Arrival of the Demons
