Randy Blythe trial

Serious Randy is serious. He looks like he just came out of Pulp Fiction :D

Joke aside, I hope all the best. Just saw them live once and I want to see them again!

Seen these guys like 8 times in the past 10 years or so. They'll always be one of my favorites. First 3 (4 if you count BTP) albums were the shit!

Heard lots of rumors that they started sucking live. Saw them like 2 months ago on the Hatebreed/In Flames/Sylosis tour and they were tight as ever.

10 million wow

in US dollars it's half a million, which while still a big chunk of change, I've seen far more being demanded in other high profile court cases.

I hope Randy gets exonerated, seen the video of the night in question and i honestly don't believe he's responsible, just a kid who didn't know when to quit being stupid and paid the price for it.

This is serious shit and I can only imagine what's going on inside Randy. You were just playing another gig, and in the blink of an eye they charge you with manslaughter. I hope they don't screw with him and it's a fair trial. That being said, I'm actually not a big LoG fan, but I saw the videos and I don't think his reaction was inappropriate.. Many argue that it was totally understandable after the whole Dime thing, but I don't think that he actually had that in mind when this kid entered the stage.

Not into LoG but i have a huge amount of respect for Randy. I watched the youtube clips of the incident and it looks like the bass player and the security gaurds were responsible......well really the kid is responsible but randy sort of helps push the kid off the stage along with a security gaurd, but the kid keeps on rushing the stage after that. I think he wont be charged with anything too serious

I'm not a Lamb of God fan either but I think they are good at what they do. As far as the kids death goes, I don't mean to be insensitive, but if he rushed the stage and new he wasn't supposed to, then no one is to blame but himself. Perhaps Randy should've been a little more conscious of where he pushed him off at (he hit is head and got a concusion right?) But when your are trying to deliver a great performance, you don't have time to worry about people being idiots in the crowd. I believe an honest meaningful apology is all that Blythe should have to give.

I said this before in the previous thread, but I find it very very hard to believe that there isn't a liability clause when you buy a ticket for a LOG show. I know here (especially ticketmaster shows) there is a whole paragraph saying they aren't responsible for what happens to you inside. My hope is that IF he is found guilty, the judge will reduce it to just the fine, cause honestly this whole thing seems kind of ridiculous.

This whole thing sucks. Blythe shouldn't have pushed the kid, the kid shouldn't have rushed the stage, etc. I hate to say it, but especially being only 5'6 (1.65 meters for you metric types) and 130 lbs (59 kg) and going to metal shows, I've had my ass kicked even when I just wanted to stand at the front. I know there's a long and storied history of mosh pits and the like, but there has to be some sort of middle line where the performers can engage with the audience safely and people in the crowd don't have to stand all the way in the back unless they're jacked enough to deal with the retards punching people in the back of the neck. Sort of different issues, but interconnected as I see it.

Ronny Radke throws mic stands into the crowd and gives kid a concussion. No one gives a shit. Randy Blythe pushes a kid off stage who obviously wasn't supposed to be there. Possible 10 years in prison... I just pissed myself off by bringing this up. Anyone want to join my elite task force to shoot Ronny in the dick with a 12 gauge and then rescue Blythe? :yell:

Never heard that story before. Bullshit...... :bah:
