Randy Castillo passed yesturday from his long battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by people all around the world. We send our condolences to his family. Everyone loved you. RIP

Forgive my ignorance, but who is he? His name sounds familiar, but I can't remember. Regardless, I send my condolences also.

Randy played drums for Ozzy, then later, Motley Crue. I was lucky to meet him in Japan - Testament and MC were there at the same time. Very nice and friendly guy... he will be missed.

And Ozzy, the Messiah of Madness, loses ANOTHER bandmate to the clutches of death.

May he pound the skins eternally in whatever afterlife he believed in.

Yes he was a nice guy. He is from here where I live...Albuquerque, New Mexico. His mom and his sisters still live here. He never forgot about his roots.

Randy was a great drummer, and left a mark in metal history,
besides his musical skills, he was a down to earth guy, who was always so positive on life, and knew how treat everyone he came into contact with, and take the time to talk to everyone. From fans, to friends to other muiscians he gave everyone the same Randy, he was definately a people person, and will be missed by many. I had the fortune to see him play with Ozzy, Red Square Black, & with Motley Crue. The last time being with the Crue in Tokyo, Japan in 2000. Great show!!. After we went to a little dive bar, that was stocked full of american models & booze. Randy, Chuck, Brendan, & I drank til the morning sun came up. I'll never forget that night or the hangover the next day. At least we have the music he left us all with............
