I got some 10 days ago the new RAPTURE CD "Songs for the Withering" and these guys kicked out hard the butts of Katatonia for a second time. They do again music that Katatonia never succeed to produce till the end.

What's your opinion?

I've been listening to 'Songs for the Withering' a lot since it came out and I think it's just awesome. As is 'Futile'. Easily the best finnish band and cds.

But if you ask my opinion on do they kick Katatonias butts, the answer is: no way! There isn't and hasn't been a band on this planet that could do better music than Katatonia.

"Songs For The Withering" is still on my "to buy" list. "Futile" was quite enjoyable, but the samples I heard from the new one sound better than "Futile", so I'm quite curious.

Bought "Songs For The Withering" yesterday, like it better than "Futile", "Tranfixion" is my favourite track so far.
