I know there are a lot of KAMELOT fans here, so I figured I would offer this here first before eBay. With the holidays quickly approaching, I will wait a few days, and if no bites, put it on eBay.

This is the MYTHS AND LEGENDS OF KAMELOT CD, which was released in 2008 by NO REMORSE / SPV. This contains a ton of rare tracks, live, and b-sides / bonus tracks for various versions of studio albums.

Ya know, some of these tracks remind me of my biggest pet peeves in "bonus tracks." I absolutely despise releasing radio edits as bonus or rare material. Has there ever been a time where fans actually prefer this, let alone listen to the radio edit? Like that radio edit of "Halloween" is so, so...:puke:

Yeah, I am not that up on Kamelot rarities.
I don't know if those radio edits were ever truly a bonus track or a b-side.

They could have possibly just been promo versions which were never released anywhere.

It's not official in any way. It's not even released-by-the-label-but-not-the-band, since No Remorse Records went bankrupt in 1990 -- 17 years before this was supposedly released. It is a very well-made fake, though, which is why it has fooled a lot of people into thinking it's real (been floating around the net for quite some time).

I just saw this on here today - I'd love to get this CD, but I don't even see it listed on eBay - please advise me as to how I might obtain a copy

Actually yes, the Crimson Glory radio edit of 'Lonely' I think is much better than the album version. I had the radio promo of it for years but it was cool that it was released as a bonus track on the Metal Mind reissue of 'Transcendence' .
I do agree with you on live tracks, always felt it was a jip.
Um, actually The Cure have really cool radio versions too and being that is one of my favorite bands I have a nice collection of several tracks.
