Does anyone remember this album? Been listening to it yesterday for the first time since maybe high school, and was utterly reduced to a heap of wet flesh writhing on the floor in sad romanticism by candlelight.
This is pre-Canaan stuff and contains all of the atmospheric refinement and genuine longing of the band's first efforts, while retaining filaments of early funeral doom found in some beautiful organ and choir work that wouldn't be out of place on Stormcrowfleet.
