Hey dudes! My (our) band is relatively new and these recordings are pretty crappy, but I thought I'd ask the Bloodbath :)kickass: ) vets here what they thought!

The song "Dirge" has growled vocals by yours truly at the very beginning and end, excuse the middle part and my pathetic attempt at clean vocals  Sorry about myspace, too. I hate it as much as anyone but it's pretty convenient to show others your music quickly and for free. The growling is pretty quiet, so you might have to turn the volume up a lot.

The first few lines are

And he woke, dried tears on his face
All that he loved, all that he knew
Ashes in the wake

Any and all input is welcome!

i actually tried looking for a myspace band by the name of Rødt Og Svart (in case that was the name of your band) but nothing turned up :) So yes, a link would be nice.

Well... Your growls are really great man... reminds me Opeth of course and Bloodbath in the Breeding Death era, really good... Try to record something with better sound next time  your clean voice sucks  sorry hahahaha... but your growls are really great...

Oh my rate... 8/10 :) (I'm rating your voice obviously, Growls good... clean voice... well, not good)

Thanks! We are all very young and that recording was done with a very cheap microphone in a basement

I'm sure the first thing you ever wrote and recorded was of supreme caliber? :loco:
Actually, I'm quite fond of my first recording. (That's off-topic) All I'm saying is, there's 18509326451 death metal bands out there, so what do you bring to the table that others don't? It's never too soon to experiment:headbang:

Oh my god! Shut the fuck up! They're allowed to sound like other bands, they're new whatever, get over it! Bands always start out playing covers and developing their style from the bands they love, then they get more and more original. He's got good growls and thats what he was wanting to show us.
