RATT performed Friday (October 25) on "Good Day LA" as part of the program's Mercury Insurance Concert Series. The legendary rockers played their classic songs "Wanted Man" and "Round And Round". Singer Stephen Pearcy and bassist Juan Croucier also sat down with the show's hosts for a short interview. Check out the footage below. Pearcy recently told The Morning Call that RATT has been writing new music. He said he is collaborating for the first time in years with Croucier, and even with new guitarist Jordan Ziff. The vocalist described the new material as something between the band's 1983 self-titled debut EP and the triple-platinum "Out Of The Cellar". "A little tougher, you know?" Pearcy said. "We had a tendency [at the band's peak] to be too melodical or something. And we're going to probably see even more straight-forward" music. This past January, Pearcy underwent knee surgery. The operation came three months after two disastrous RATT shows that saw the now-63-year-old singer incapacitated to the point where he had trouble remembering the words to some of the band's biggest hits. "My one knee was totally blown out and I couldn't deal with it," he told The Morning Call. "That got all better a year and a half ago, and then my left knee blew out, which happens. And I was in so much pain out there, and I just got a little too tweaked one night or two nights. And then I went, 'I’m going in to get this done. I can't be out here beating myself up and having shitty shows.' And what all I had to do, I'm gonna need knee surgery. But it's so difficult. People don't understand." Pearcy also talked about RATT's current lineup, which includes Croucier, along with drummer Pete Holmes (BLACK 'N BLUE) and guitarists Ziff and Chris Sanders (BRITNY FOX, KNIGHT FURY). "[Holmes is] just thunderous," Pearcy said. "Crazy. So we're happy with the lineup right now." Last month, Pearcy told Atlantic City Weekly that RATT was planning to make new music available in 2020. "We're deciding now how we want to go about releasing it, whether it will be a full record or just a bunch of singles," he said. "I think we will probably go that route though — release a few singles, see how people take to it and the rest is easy." RATT hasn't released any new music since 2010's "Infestation" album.
