When listening to Vintersorg I picture woods,
mountains, small lakes, big seas, dancing women
looking like "huldra"...
That's what I see in my head.

How I react; Sometimes dancing all around the
livingroom. Sometimes headbanging, and
sometimes I just sit there listening. I don't have
many thoughts, I'm just focused on the music and
what it gives me...

What I want; To gather all metalheads and go
into the woods, by a lake... Make a huge
"camp-fire" and "dance" (freak out, in any way you
like) around it, with Vintersorg playing ))

Wouldn't it be great?! You're all invited, only thing
missing is Vintersorg himself >P Hehe....
Oh well, we can bring a CDplayer!

Well, what I wanted to know is what you picture
in your mind, what do you feel, how do you react,
and what do you WISH to do while listening
to Vintersorg? The music is so great it creates all
kinds of emotions )

I also am taken in the woods or just picture anything having to do with nature. It makes me appreciate nature much more and want to go outside. Hmmm, I might go listen to my Vintersorg cd outside tonight.

It would definitely be cool to go out and maybe have a camp-fire and listen to some great Vintersorg tunes and just be in our element.

To be honest, when I listen to Vintersorg I picture myself finally getting to see them play live! I get the forest, rivers, mountains imagery too but I reeeeeeaalllllyyyy want to see them in concert!

I get kind of a mystic imagery, i tend not to headbang to vintersorg, more just relax into the atmosphere and just appreciate it, I feel like listening to Cosmic Genesis about now too.....gonna have to wait til after school tommorow....grr..

I get the snow mountain top imagery a lot when I listen to songs like Norrland and Till Fjalls. Nature is a big thing in Vintersorgs music, hence the imagery, I think it fits the mood well.

Yeah, that's something I have thought about a lot....
Vintersorg is singing in Swedish, but the music also
brings accross the vision of nature etc, right?

I can't give you an example from Vintersorg, since I
understand Swedish. But alot of you guys might have
heard Thyrfing, right?! (Yeah, THEY ROCK!!!) And the
way that the vocalist is "singing" makes it harder for
me to understand even the Swedish songs.

But I pictured vikings... The way they live, all sorts of
situations... Then, yesterday I sat down and actually
read the lyrics (not very typical for being me!!) and it
took me by surprise that all the things I had imagined
was exactly what he was singing about! )

It's the whole package, not just the lyrics )

Home Again by Thyrfing, now THAT is the song right there. Lots of different moods.

I love how Vintersorg comes across like that, with different moods. Brutal one moment and soft melodic and beautiful the next. The sign of a truely great artist

a night of song and dance with fellow fans of vintersorg, and the man himself dear god that would rule all! Bring Mattias along to man, couldnt do great songs like Ars Memorativa without him!

i know vintersorg woulden't have the time for this lets start
