it lists a bunch of the best pretentious/profound classics from 1987-2000 with reviews & a brief history of weird metal. reminds me that i still need to get things like MISANTHROPE and SEPTIC FLESH.

Talking about Âmes de Marbre ? It's quite good indeed. Puts Amesoeurs to shame I'd say. As far as Misanthrope goes, maybe stick to their pre-COB albums then
