Picked up a German Import of the new album a couple of weeks ago and it rocks. Top of the heap = Black Dahlia, Taking the Music Back, Think about an End. I walk away with a feeling similar to that of the Threat is Real = Pumped up and Invincible.
I dig some minor adjustments of musical styles on the last 2 albums. E.g. Cadillac Rock Box has an old Kiss feel to it. A Toast to the Extras is another example of something off the beaten path.
I'll even go as far as asking that the band shelve some of the older, more played out material in favor of the John Bush material, unless of course, they decide to break out something deep in the vault like Medusa or One World.
Anyway, been an Anthrax fan since '87 and look forward to slamming some beers with my crew at the May 13th show.
