Im thinking about getting a keyboard to run with FL studio just so I can do some realtime playing.

I have a firestudio as an interface.

My budget is $150, Id like 49 keys, im not a pianist so it doesnt have to feel like im playing a real piano, Id just like the best bang for the buck and be able to open up say, "Sytrus" or something and use the keyboard to play the sounds live.

Theres a couple in my pricerange, any body have experience with either?

Thankssss

Yeah, I had an XBoard for awhile, and while I didn't use it much, I'd say it was well-made and did its job nicely!

Word!:) I doubt ill be using mine too much either, just would be nice to have a cheap decent one if I ever want to ha

That axiom is niiiice, ill keep an eye on it on ebay thanks

I'm using a CME M-Key, which is well under your pricerange and meets your requirements. Has lasted me for over two years now and does what it's supposed to very well, even though I've dropped it quite a few times.

It's very simplistic, but if you don't need midi control buttons or such too much then that would probably work for you. Pick that one up if you want to save some money.

If I'd want a new one, I'd probably go for an M-Audio Axiom Pro or something, with the proper keys and some more transport buttons, but since my chops with the keys are pretty bad I mostly use it to play some parts with variating velocity to make them sound more realistic, or just generally search for ideas.

I have one as well. It's cheap and would never be road worthy, but for the price it does its job :kickass:

Thanks for all the quick responses guys:)

Ill probably be going with the CME, or the E-MU...Axiom is outta my range, maybe ill upgrade to it down the road though.

Thanks,
Zach
