I figure I'd at least give it a try. I don't really care what it is but recommend me some classical you think is great.

classical starter kit:

Bach- Brandenburg Concertos 1-6
Beethoven- Symphonies 1-9
Mozart- Piano Concertos 20-27

I know some people will say it's overrated, or perhaps overplayed, but the Four Seasons by Vivaldi. It depends if you're into more of a piano concerto, or string concerto style. If you're into a lot of bombast, try Wagner.

There's been multiple threads on this already. Use the search function peeps!

Anyways, check out Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. Also, if you want some epic as fuck classical organ, check out Vierne's Finale or Widor's Toccata.

I love Adagio for Strings... that piece definetly stirs up emotions... was well used in the movie Platoon... as for other composers:

Mozart (total fucking genius)
Tchaikovsky
Chopin -my fave piece by him is Nocturne in E flat, Op.9 , No.2
Rachaminoff
Paganini
Pachelbel - Canon in D of course..
Schubert - Ave Maria of course
Beethoven

Don't have anything to recommend as I am fairly new to the genre.

But I will check out a few of the recommendations. :)

Pachelbel is exceptional. Not only the Canon in D Major though.

lol @ the way you describe Mozart.

why is it funny? it's true.
