A bedroom project became something of quite ambitious scope. Borrowing elements from both experimental wizards like The Evpatoria Report or Sigur Rós ("Agaetys Birjun"'s orchestral soars jump to mind immediately), Jean-Michel Jarre-like arctic travellings and the more contemplative/ambient side of the progressive sound, Kwoon weave a most gorgeous tapestry of shoegazing drama and muted rebellion, embedded in a weird fantasy mythology of the band's own creation (the artwork is nothing short of awe-inspiring). One of the finest debuts in a long time and a striking burst of oxygen aimed at those who think that emotional post-rock is doomed to spawn Godspeed clones ad nauseam.

As spring has come, Kwoon's first offspring opens his eyes. He takes his first breathe, and gets ready to make his first cry towards the ones willing to adopt him.
He goes straigth to visit dozens of columnists to get their first feelings. We will provide you with some links as soon as we get some feedbacks, regardless of the criticism's harshness.
