Description : I don't know if this band has been discussed before, or even mentionned but doing my lists on rateyourmusic.com I conclued to the necessity of picking this band for my recommandation . Poema Arcanvs are from Chile, Mar de Grises compatriots and that's saying much for they play some kind of Doom-Metal akin to The Tatterdemalion Express'. The band has released several albums, even one in 2005 which I have not bothered with yet. I guess I should. This album from 2002, not a masterpiece by any means, has several gems that are worth the price alone (elegia :worship: ) and as TTE a very unique taste. Also, it is one of those albums that certainly age well and that you would spin from time to time with real pleasure in 5/6 years I'm sure. Yousendits are coming.

I can do nothing but type a big "."

Typically the kind of album which leaves a good but not mindblowing impression, but which can't be disregarded when it comes to do a 2002 top 10 in retrospect, like today...

Isn't it time to unsticky the old threads btw?

Stick stick stick..

oh yeah it's 13.31 so most are zZzZZzing.

Weird that Metal-Archives lists "The Teluric Manifesto" as 2005 where in fact it's not even released according to a myspace label page..

I'll sticky this since JayKeeley is a lazy bastard. It's like 9:30 where he lives. He can unsticky the old threads. I don't want him to spank me again.

I'm downloading these samples now.

I could not pay attention to the previous so I don't expect this one to beat the drukenzdz thread.

However Poema Arcanvs are really enjoyable ;)

Just listened to this again for the first time in months. Long story short: it deserves far more attention. The enthralling qualities of their songwriting reminds me of In The Woods... in a doomy fashion.

I enjoyed these songs, some solid doom. The clean vocals were good and songs were pretty varied.. Good recommendation :hotjump:

LOL - sorry guys, but with things like this, my TOTAL LACK OF A COMPUTER can be a bit of a problem. :p I'm typing this on my brother's PC, I've been back home from work for forty minutes, and I'm about to log off and go to my other half's house, from which point I won't be able to get on a PC until Monday night at the absolute earliest, more likely Wednesday (due to a combination of work, college and social responsibilities).
