I just read that all the Maiden re-releases that are coming out next month are gonna be put out through Sanctuary/Metal-Is. I'm wondering if Rock in Rio and subsequent studio albums are also gonna be put out through them too. If they are then I think that will mean that Stomp, rather than EMI, will be the local distributor here... and Megadeth and COC, (also both on Stomp) both came out here last year. Could mean a better chance of a tour.

Wonder why the re-releases aren't on Portrait records. Didn't maiden sign to them?

Maiden signed to Portrait for the USA, nowhere else AFAIK.

Stomp aren't doing the Maiden bits - I think they're only on import here (or that might just be the singles - Stomp guy was kind of vague).

I can't imagine the new live disc being on anything other than EMI tho...

This is a while ago but when i was a Kid most of the Albums i brought were on the Vertigo LABEL , WHICH Sabbath , Status Quo , Thin Lizzy , were all signed too . So if someone new was signed to Vertigo Label so ;like a fool I would automatically buy the product ie DIO, METALLICAI , KEEL , etc . Sum were good,sum not soo.
