regarding fonts

Are there font sets for old Norse runes? i have yet to find an operational set, and would deeply appreciate any knowledge.

Yes, there are. Did you try to use the internal search engine on this page? I think we've discussed this before somewhere...I just can't remember where. Fonts come up from time to time, though. If you don't get any better answers on this forum, try asking here: Historiska världars forum - English forum
It's the English forum at the National Museum of Antiquity. If they don't know there, I really don't who'd know!
