Reggae

another reggae fan- wow

If you want good reggae try Steel Pulse, the Abynissians, Israel Vibration, Jimmy Cliff, Some Luciano aint bad, hm, Midnite is good, well thats the best- and Marley of course

If you like hip hop reggae- try Bounty Killer- I cant say im a big fan- but he is the allstar of the genre.

There are alot of different genres of reggae- from Dancehall- which is digital electronic influenced- to fusion which can include about any style of music- to Roots reggae- my fav- to Ska reggae which is uptempo.

Hope i helped- I have been to Jamaica three times and picked some of this stuff up, I ve always loved the beat, it is perfect.

Oh and Sepultura threw a reggae influence into their last album Nation.

I can recommend "Work" by Bob Marley from the "Uprising" lp. It's one of the best reggae songs I've heard! His "Sun is shining" is also cool. You may know it from the rape done by Funkstar Deluxe a couple of years back.
The Heptones has also done some good songs, at least on their "Night food" lp! "Amagideon (armagedeon)" by Bunny Wailer is also good! The same thing can be said for "Money" by Jacob Miller. It's from his "Tenement yard" lp and it also has some other good songs, but I can't recall how good they are as that record now is in the pile of records that I've never really listened to and now have to listen to thoroughly.
I also have some Peter Tosh and Jimmy Cliff records, but they're in another pile of records that I've bought, listened to them once and written down what was good on it and are now waiting to transfer them to tape to listen to them thoroughly.
Jah Mann! Rastamann!
