So, the plans of the weekend fell through. The woman i have been seeing has been in contact with her ex-boyfriend, and is thusly a big emotional mess. Yay drama

I've spent the last four hours working on chapter five of the current fiction monstrosity, and I'm not happy with it but at least it is taking shape. Thusly, the rest of the night shall be spent drinking my whisky and watching The Tick Versus Season One. That's right.

I really try to avoid drama, but inevitably I seem to get involved with those who are sucked into it. Someday I will enjoy the company of a woman who, like me, has excused drama from participating. And then whisky will taste all the more sweet when shared in such company.

It wasn't bad, though about three episodes in, I realized I was coming down with something flu-like. Fastfoward to today, and I managed to get through work however it feels like gnomes are arcwelding in my sinuses and throat and my fever is at least taking off the chill in the air.
