I just scored McDsp's Revolver and was flipping through some presets on some old sessions. It's pretty tits. It inspired me to ask y'all:

What kind of reverb do you use?

dverb medium plate and room on drums, tlspace on vocals and other things, using the hall or bricasti impulses, occasionally uaplate140

If there is one tool I've tried more than any other, it's reverb.

At the moment I've settled on a cross section of:

112dB Redline Reverb: This is a good workhorse verb. Sounds much more expensive than it is, and as Ed mentioned, has some of that Lexi vibe. Many parameters and very tweakable.

SIR 2 + Bricasti M7, Lexi 480L, 300, PCM70 etc. impulses: This can work well on drums for smaller to medium rooms that don't need modulation.

Aether: For the mega long, surreal, ambient verbs. This plug-in has a sound of its own and is quite out there. If I ever start doing electronica, it will be a workhorse.

UAD Plate 140 on Snare
Perfect Space (Cakewalk, guess it's a modified Pristine Space) with Acousticas IRs of the Lexicon 300
