Sometimes it's nice to not be surprised. Reunions of metal bands are becoming more and more common in recent years, and some of them are more welcome than others. Asphyx made their mark in the early 90s death metal explosion, but due to lineup problems and fading popularity of the subgenre as a whole the band never really had a chance to live up to its potential. After a nearly ten year hiatus, however, Asphyx has returned to re-stake their claim with Death...The Brutal Way.
