Shinedown is back with their second album and it doesn't dissapoint. The first single "Save Me" was a good solid shinedown song and i'm happy to report Shinedown haven't tried changing for fans like most bands do. Though the intro the dream is just a poem it is a good poem but ehh...The song I Dare You is also climbing the charts and has appeared on American Idol (though that isn't a good thing but it promotes the band). Unlike Leave a Whisper this album has more guitar soloing. Also, i personally thought the songs on Leave a Whisper were all amazing. On Us and Them there are some ok songs that are forgettable but the songs that are good really stand out and are amazing. I recommend this album to anyone who likes Shinedown or any hard rock or alternative metal fan. I give this album an 9/10
